Kate Morton 'The Secret Keeper'

I finally finished Kate Morton's 'The Secret Keeper'. This book was a bit different from her earlier work, in that it took some time for me to actually get into the book. It started off a bit slow, but of course she was just setting up the characters and the point of mentioning a detail while not clear at the start, led to an a-ha, I get it now moment at the end! Kate Morton managed to capture the essence of the 1920s-1940s really well. She has a brilliant talent for taking the reader and making them visualize what life was like then. With all its twists and turns, this is a book that will engage its reader and keep them captivated till the end.
